Save the date

Alvis will be exhibiting at the 2018 NEC Lancaster Insurance Classic Car Show in Hall 1, Stand 525 in November, from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th. This year’s theme is “Built to last” so if you have an Alvis that has seen a few hundred thousand miles, survives with its original coachwork, and you would like to exhibit it on the Alvis Owner Club stand please leave a reply below.

If you have a story of an Alvis in continuous use we would also be pleased to hear from you for the story boards on the stand.

If you would like to help man the stand on one or more days, including the Thursday set up day, please also leave a reply.

  1. I hope to be available for 1 or 2 consecutive days to assist with manning /set up /dismantling the stand how soon do you require final confirmation of availability.

  2. Hi
I own Sp20SC CJJ415 – C&E open sports – all matching numbers, original body and tidy but obviously lived in. Car rebuilt twice – once in the late ’40s at Follets (invoices on file) – We understand this was after a few years of war service and again (somewhat 2nd rate) in the 80’s – Took me a couple of years to sort properly but now on the button. Still used very regularly averaging 5K miles / year – over the last 6 years has travelled the full length of Norway, west and south coasts of France, Pyrenees twice, Portugal, Picos de Europa, Italy, Andorra, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Monaco Historic and still gets used as my Summer ‘day’ car ( I have a pristine ’76 AC 3000ME turbo for Sunday outings and a Defender for the winter) Not an uncommon sight in the outside lane of the M1.
Only live 20 miles away from the NEC – Happy for you to display the car but I can’t accompany it for much time I’m afraid. Please let me know in good time if you want it
