3rd Wednesday Dining Club

The venue with all the motoring art is absolutely stunning and the food was excellent – it was good to sit outside and enjoy the spell of glorious weather. We had a very enjoyable afternoon with you both – it was good to chat and share stories.

Starting in July 2021, the third Wednesday of the month, our first dining club meeting for Friends got off to a flying start attended by two fine Alvis and a family of life long enthusiasts. Bowcliffe Drivers Club provided the perfect setting on the terrace overlooking the manicured lawns and gardens for a leisurely lunch in the summer sun.

The Charlesworth Speed 25 leads the family TA14 Carbodies into Bowcliffe Hall
There is often a fine 3-litre of another kind to keep the visitors and Chris’s Firebird company
The elegant Speed 25 is a running preservation and restoration project
The TA14 has been owned by Trevor Hardy since 1959
What better way to spend a Wednesday afternoon?

Our second lunch was on Wednesday August 18th and celebrated the life of our dear friend Neil Millington in the Bowcliffe Room with 19 diners and five fine Alvis outside.
