10466 Normon Marrett enquired about a Firefly, PO 8118, his father once owned. Simon Fisher emailed to confirm the car has not survived. It had been owned by George Butlin in the early sixties, but by 1967 it had been broken up, with some parts being used as spares. It was a rare car, one of at most 4 Fireflies bodied by John Charles & Co of Kew, with dickey seats. Simon did quite a bit of research into these four cars about 15 years ago, but unfortunately none has survived with its body intact.
