1991 Tour of Britain

To celebrate forty years of the Alvis Owner Club, another Tour of Britain seemed like a good idea, and to make it even better, to team up with Age Concern with the aim of raising £1 for each of the estimated 50,000 miles the entrants would cover.

Owners could join in whichever parts of the route they could and were urged to find ways of raising cash for the charity. The route covered England, Wales and Scotland and included a visit to Alvis who were still in business in Coventry. Two participants wrote up their stories in Bulletins 394 and 395:
