  1. Hi. I am subscribing to the Archive. By just wildly ‘surfing’ I was stunned to find above photograph I had taken out side my parents house in the 1960’s! I think possibly 1965 to 1967. Curious to know how you came by the ‘photo. Loved the car. Did a complete engine re-build. Very enjoyable job.

    1. Hello Ian, I can only guess that you or someone else must have sent it to the AOC after you joined in 1966 and it has been in the archives since then. It was loaded on to the site in 2017.

    2. Ian, the photo came from Bob Merrill, the former Crested Eagle Model Secretary and you advertised the car for sale in May 1967, 1937 S/Crest TF16.95 4 light sal. Grey & black MOT, tax, bodily v. good, interior perfect, 4 new Dunlop R. S.5’s. 3 good spares, engine decarbonised 200 m.. ago. w valves, guides, timing gear, charging system, battery, clutch, brake linings etc. a v. good example for £l60, cash or w.h.y. Hagate, 28 Bradstock Rd. Stoneleigh, Ewell, Surrey.
