And we did very well . Car 27 came 14th and 28 came 17th out of 84 competitors , on index of performance . We beat 14 Bentleys and numerous other high performance vintage machinery
Congratulations Mark, and best wishes from us all in the South-West
Hi Mark, My father appears to have owned this car in 1956, however it seems that the one you are racing is a replica. I just wondered if you could confirm this please as I am researching my family history and I came across a photo of him from 1956 with the car (taken before I was born) and wondered if this would also be a replica.
Many thanks for your help.
Which car are you referring to? My car Reg SC4076 or the Le Mans race car from 1928?
My car was allocated number 27 by the organisers of Le Mans Classic
Congratulations Mark Hayward, Mark Butterworth, Fred Herzog and Raphael
