Among the various design drawings held in the archives is this one which as far as we know was never built by New Avon on a Firefly chassis:

New Avon produced designs for Standard as well as work for Austin, Lanchester and Crossley Motors.
Excellent!
Many thanks.

Dear Alvis,
I have just received this email and am interested to know how you have my email address>.
I have connections with Alvis going back for over 75 years to when my father Major ME Barclay was alive and had both TD and TE cars having persuaded his company Transport Manager that it was more economical to have an Alvis company car than any lesser make or model.
Before the 2nd World War he had owned Alvis’s as a young man. You may have his name on file?
I worked for Alvis from 1976 for five years and enjoyed the friendship and the family culture through-out the firm.
Time goes by.
Thank you.
Ian EA Barclay
