….. the AOC conducted a Membership Survey and published the results.
The Bulletin for May 2004 ticked all the boxes to satisfy most members, covering the vintage period, overseas activities, an abundance of correspondence and archive items. Another Julian Collins masterpiece to enjoy once again…..
This month Alvis publicised the latest Continuation Graber cabriolet on show in Japan.

More details of its unique features are awaited.
since about 5 months I am the owner of TC21/100 no 25617. The car needed some minor technical restoration, mainly electrical, and some of the interior ( lining and door cardboards ) .
The body is excellent with a few dents which can easily be repaired.
It should be on the road before the end of the summer.
Looking at these pictures of the latest “Continuation Graber” (how come you may utilize this name?) i have to comment that it just does not look right. The genius elegance of the original Graber creations has definitely not been replicated and i wonder who is going to spend any money on such a thing.
Many thanks, Alvis Archive.
A very good read and a sad reminder of how many good people have gone in the intervening years.

A fascinating and insightful survey, much of which could be just as applicable today as it was then. I’m still waiting to hear the collected output of the AOC’s late 2023 survey of Members (why is it taking so long?)
The results are here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un1_RqcJTkQ&feature=youtu.be in the members’ section of the AOC website.
