9560 Reverend James Douglas Simpson owned Silver Eagle TC 19.82 Mayfair Drophead Coupé LJ 7368 from new on 30 March 1933 until his death in 1936, when it passed to his son Norman Douglas Simpson (the botanist), Maesbury, 3 Cavendish Road, Bournemouth BH1 1QX, until his death in 1974. (see Vintage page for his 12/50)

Does this car still survive? Only 59 TC 19.82s were produced and most had limousine or landaulet bodies by Mayfair. Do any of them still remain?
We last heard of this car in Spain some years ago with a long term owner. We are not aware of any other survivors.
This fabulous car resurfaced, in the UK, still in remarkably preserved condition, this summer 2024, with single family ownership.
