Simon Merriot commented: It’s a long time since I’ve thought about this but I am reasonably confident Brutus was built as a single seater and opened up earlier (no idea why I think / remember that!). I believe it was unique in having a quarter elliptic rear suspension as have the car / cars in all pictures. The low rad position necessitating a bulge over the rocker cover is common too.
Certainly if it’s not Brutus then it’s a very close relative!
