  1. My brother bought WEE2, possibly in the 1980s, a MkII TD21 although I did subsequently hear that the number plate changed cars. It was incredibly low mileage, something like 18,000 miles. I was invited to drive the car home from it’s previous owner and by the time I’d driven a few hours south to the Finchley Road in North London my arms and shoulders were worn out. I think I had been spoiled by the power steering of my first Alvis in 1972, a power steered auto 1965 TE21 saloon JWT 71C. I wonder what happened to that?
