The completion of a restoration is an achievement but often often takes longer than anticipated. When it is of a rare car it is all the more satisfying to see the result.

I need to list my 1953 TC21/100 (S/N 25656) for sale due to diminishing health. How do I list the automobile in your publication? I live nearest to the Savannah sea port such that I can load it into a sea container for shipment and low cost of transport.

This 1953 Alvis TC 21/100 is right-hand drive, finished in burgundy and black, brown upholstery and recent tan wool carpets. Alvis Owner’s Club items, spare parts, marque literature, an extensive library, tools, photos from the aforementioned work are made a part of the sale: a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The driver-side front fender was repaired and repainted during previous ownership. The rear wheel spats and engine vent panels were replaced. The brightwork is said to have been re-chromed at the time of restoration and aftermarket rear turn signals were added. Cracking paint is evident on several panels of the body. Approximately 36,341 miles.
The electrical system was reportedly rewired and converted to negative ground during previous ownership. Work by the former owner is said to have included replacing the freeze plugs and battery, repairing transmission leaks, and changing the oil, coolant, and differential fluid. Current owner has tuned the ignition system, replaced (new) the Lucas voltage regulator, boiled-out and flow tested the radiator, fixed several coolant leaks, rebuilt the generator and adjusted the valves. Running gear and the original engine work exceptionally well. There are no issues known to the owner.
Extensive restoration work was carried out by previous owners and is documentated in pictures and receipts. The car is titled using the 25656 engine serial number stamping.
