Derek Bradbury

We have learned with regret that Life Member of the Trust, Derek Bradbury, passed away on April 19th 2026 at the age of 88.

Derek had a remarkable history of fifty-four years’ of Alvis Owner Club membership, and in particular dedication to Alvis Members in the Southwest Section. He took part in the first Southwestern Alvis Day at Newton Abbot in 1976 and was Section Chairman 1982 and again from 1997-1984, working alongside Ted Sayer.

He was Chairman of the Alvis Owner Club 1988-92 and Club President 2000-06. He continued to support the SW Section and was a regular attender at Southwestern Alvis Days, accompanied by Jean.

He enjoyed owning several Alvis cars, two Speed 20s, some TE21s and a front wheel drive.

Our sympathies are with Jean, and Nigel at this time. His funeral is on Wednesday 13th May at 2.30 pm.at the Parish church of St. Wolfrida, Horton, BH21 7JA.
